Moderate earthquakes in New Zealand and offshore Egypt

In central part of North Island, NZ, close to Lake Taupo, a moderade quake with M 5,1 happened some minutes ago in a depth of 112 km. It was felt all over the island. People near Rotorua report Mercalli-Intensity V. There are no damages expected.

A similar quake ocured north of Egypt this morning. Magnitude 5,1 ans depth of 15 km. It was felt in northern Egypt(Cairo) and parts of Cyprus(e.g. Limassol). No damage.
